Athlete Development & Performance

Woodeez Development Programs are designed to help athletes of all ages improve sport-specific strength and skills over the long term. Programs are run through the Woodeez gym facilities and includes both individual and group sessions.

All members are able to take part in development programs, regardless of what sport they play or their level of experience, regardless of what athletic ability our members have. Safety and support are key. The team at Woodeez currently oversees the structure of all athlete development programs.

The team are committed to ensuring the development, understanding and maximum benefits achieved from our Athlete Development Programs are consistent over time.

Training

Training sessions are designed to suit various levels of fitness and will meet specific requirements for athletes throughout their sporting journey. Young or inexperienced members can complete an age-appropriate program, while athletes training for a more professional level can do a tailor-made program for their elite level.

Most training sessions take place at Woodeez Gym. The facilities within the gym are first-rate and designed to improve fitness levels.

Outcomes

The focus of the Woodeez Athlete Development Programs is to develop long-term skills and training discipline among all members.

Training begins from the junior levels with the goal of embedding good habits in movement patterns. Ultimately, these habits will continue to develop over time so that, by the time out members are reaching their goals, they will have developed into better athletes.

Woodeez Athletes Development Program

Woodeez Youth Athlete Development Program is designed from experienced Strength and Conditioning coaches with sporting and coaching backgrounds.

Over time, we have found ways to bridge the gaps in their chosen sports. While coaching sporting teams, we have also accomplished great results throughout the year with the athletes. Our program does not focus on one sport; we focus on developing the athlete to get to a level physically and mentally, before they go back to their sporting coaches.

The training is completed in a gym and outdoor environment that covers all aspects of Strength and Conditioning. Woodeez also have strong business partnerships in Recovery, Nutrition and Allied Health Professionals.

We are not here to take over your sporting coaches, we are here with a “SOLUTION” knowing that our program can get YOU ready in the sport you have chosen.

Maximising effectiveness through education.

Being educated while exercising is essential in maximizing effectiveness and reducing risk of injury. Our highly experienced strength and conditioning coaches will teach you everything you need to know about exercising. They will demonstrate the correct posture for each exercise and put together the perfect routine to help you achieve your goals.
